4. Designing Personalized Stationery (Letterhead)
1. Create your Letterhead

Use graphics and margin adjustments to design your own persoanlized stationery

If you would like school related clip art for your letterheadclick here.

Check out this Sample Letterhead.

Your letterhead must contain the following:
-
Your Name
-
The school address - 344 Calvin Court, Wyckoff NJ 07481
-
at least 3 shapes to create your designs
-
at least 2 clip arts or graphics
-
No more than 1/3 of the paper should be taken up by your design. (You will need room to write a letter.)

Use the school information below for your letterhead:
Save your file as: Letterhead-Your Name. Save it to the desktop.
2. Write a Letter on your Letterhead
In this activity you will write a letter using one of the topics listed below. You type your letter on the personalized stationary that you created above. Use one of the following ideas for your letter:

Write about a product or website you like and why you like it.

Write about improvements to a product or website.
-
Write about an idea you have for a new technology product or website.
-
Write a letter asking for more information about a product or website.

Do not use your home address in the letter. Use the school address from above.

Letter Requirements: Your Letter must contain the following

Your Letterhead Must Contain the following:
|

A design that includes a minimum of 3 shapes.
|
|
A design that includes a minimum of 2 cliparts or graphics.
|
|
No more than 1/3 of the paper is covered by the letterhead design.
|
|
Your name and the school address are included.
|
|
Your Letter Must Contain the following:
|
|
3 paragraphs related to the assigned topic.
|
|
All ideas are explained in detail in each of the 3 paragraphs.
|
|
All paragraphs are indented. Spelling and grammar is correct.
|
|
Includes the name and address of the company you are writing too. (Company address may be made up)
|
|
Your name and signature is in the proper format at the end of the letter.
|
|
The font style of the letter is the same for the entire letter. The font style is easy to read.
